2 The Lord is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation; He is my God, and I will praise Him; My father’s God, and I will exalt Him.

4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.

21 The lips of the righteous feed many, But fools die for lack of wisdom.

29 Because they hated knowledge And did not choose the fear of the Lord, 30 They would have none of my counsel And despised my every rebuke. 31 Therefore they shall eat the fruit of their own way, And be filled to the full with their own fancies.

28 for in Him we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are also His offspring.’

20 Listen to counsel and receive instruction, That you may be wise in your latter days. 21 There are many plans in a man’s heart, Nevertheless the Lord’s counsel—that will stand.

12 Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, And uphold me by Your generous Spirit.

13 Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

2 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.

14 The secret of the Lord is with those who fear Him, And He will show them His covenant.
