6 “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled.”

5 “Blessed are the meek, For they shall inherit the earth.”

4 “Blessed are those who mourn, For they shall be comforted.”

3 “Blessed are the poor in spirit, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”

29 The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!

16  And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace. 17 For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

19 Then He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.”

11 But let all those rejoice who put their trust in You; Let them ever shout for joy, because You defend them;
Let those also who love Your name Be joyful in You.

11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.

12 For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; With favor You will surround him as with a shield.
